What Will Families Experience at the I AM Children’s Museum?The museum is designed as a self-directed journey where each child chooses their own path through creativity, connection, exploration, and play. The visit begins inside a restored historic home and opens into the Tree of Possibilities, the campus’s central gathering place and orientation point connecting every major experience.How Will Visitors Reach the Museum, Park, and Move Through the Destination?Located at 971 E. Plant Street in Historic Downtown Winter Garden, the museum sits within one of Central Florida’s most walkable downtown districts while maintaining regional access through major highways, public transportation, bicycle infrastructure, and future hospitality partnerships.How Will the Museum Connect with the West Orange Trail?The museum is planning approximately 2 miles of Discovery Trails connecting the campus directly to the West Orange Trail — envisioned as an outdoor extension of the museum experience combining environmental education, outdoor recreation, eco-tourism, public art, and family engagement.How Will the $25 Million TDT Capital Investment Be Deployed?The request is for $25,000,000 in Tourist Development Tax funding, distributed as $12,500,000 in 2027 and $12,500,000 in 2028. Funding would be invested exclusively in permanent capital assets — design and construction readiness in 2027, and facility construction and visitor-serving improvements in 2028.
