The I AM Children's Museum is designed as a self-directed journey where every child chooses their own path through creativity, connection, exploration, and play. Rather than following a prescribed route, families are invited to move freely throughout interconnected indoor and outdoor environments that encourage curiosity, collaboration, and discovery.

The museum experience begins inside a restored historic home before opening into the heart of the campus—the Tree of Possibilities. More than a signature landmark, the Tree serves as the museum's central gathering place, orientation point, and physical connection between every major experience throughout the campus.

From the Tree of Possibilities, children naturally branch into two complementary learning environments:

Create --- where children imagine, invent, design, build, and express ideas.

Connect --- where children discover relationships with people, community, nature, and themselves.

Surrounding these experiences, the Nature Trail & Outdoor Adventure Network extends learning beyond the museum walls, connecting families with outdoor exploration, environmental education, movement, and wellness.

Together, these environments create one continuous museum experience where children are encouraged to explore at their own pace, revisit favorite experiences, and discover something new with every visit.
